We are pleased to announce the launch of a new brand identity for 3D People.
The past few years have brought unprecedented challenges to industries around the globe. At 3D People, we've taken this time to reflect on our core values and focus our efforts on achieving our mission to build a straightforward and stress-free platform for ordering 3D printed parts online. We want to aid engineers and designers to save time and money, giving you the headspace and freedom to innovate, no matter your industry.
The rebranding process drove us to revisit our initial reasons for starting 3D People. We found it exhilarating to immerse ourselves in the original ideas for our grander goals and reflect on how far we have come. Over a 12 month project, we interviewed our customers, staff, and competitors to deeply research the additive manufacturing space. Some conversations led to discoveries we had previously overlooked. Rebranding has helped us understand ourselves better and, in turn, improve our service and offer a better experience for our customers.
We have distilled our findings into three core values that will guide us to create the best offering in the marketplace.

The new brandmark (above) reflects the connection between people and technology. The logo embodies our aim to demystify complex processes, empowering people to create innovative products.
Our master brand colour palette consists of greys and white; however, bright technical accent colours act as functional wayfinding and highlight key points across our design system.
Alongside our new logo, 3D People has new typefaces. Telegraf and Aktiv Grotesk are an essential part of the new design system. Telegraf, the typeface used in the primary wordmark, works best for headlines and large copy. Telegraf combines the forms of mid-century grotesks with rigid angles. Aktiv Grotesk is a workhorse typeface that brings precision and legibility to bodies of text. We love the tone captured by these fonts and believe they represent our voice wonderfully.
We are over the moon to share our new branding with you. As you can see, some of the changes are already live on our website and social media. I'm happy to say there is still much more news to come this year; keep watching this space!
