ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING Materials:

MATERIAL

PA12 Nylon (SLS)

The industry leading material for industrial 3D printing. This robust material has superb mechanical properties and can replace injection moulded alternatives.

AKA. Duraform ProX PA, Polyamide,
Nylon 12, PA2200

MATERIAL

PA12 Nylon (MJF)

The industry's favourite industrial polymer material. This robust thermoplastic produces high-density parts with excellent mechanical properties and can replace injection moulded alternatives.

AKA. HP 3D High Reusability PA 12, Polyamide,
Nylon 12

MATERIAL

MJF Ultrasint TPU01

Flexible and durable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) in 88A Shore hardness. Offering excellent impact resistance, energy return, wear performance, and tear resistance.

AKA. HP 3D High Reusability TPU, Thermoplastic Polyurethane

How it works

The finishing process reduces surface roughness by compacting the surface of the 3D Prints. The parts are cleaned to remove any loose powder before they are placed inside a polishing machine. The prints are circulated around a vibrating bowl, knocking together with the ceramic media to slowly smooth the surfaces. To achieve a high-quality finish, a minimum of 8 hours is required for polishing, we run the parts overnight to provide a next day service.

SLS

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an alternative to injection moulding for producing industrial-strength parts.

MJF

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is ideal for the volume production of durable, high-detail, industrial components.

3D PRINTING MATERIALS OVERVIEW

At our state-of-the-art UK additive manufacturing facility, we specialise in two cutting-edge technology types: Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Multi Jet Fusion (MJF). These technologies enable us to produce high-quality parts exclusively from PA12 Nylon, a material known for its robustness and versatility.

We focus on these select technologies and materials to deliver consistent, high-quality results for our customers. Each material is validated and tested to ensure that we meet and exceed your project requirements.

The following polymer materials are available to order through our 3D printing service:
